Dimenhydrinate is used for treatment and prevention of nausea, vomiting, and dizziness associated with motion sickness.
Recommendations
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take your medicine exactly as directed.
To prevent motion sickness, the first dose should be taken ½ to 1 hour before starting activity.
For adults and children 12 years and over the usual dose is 1 to 2 tablets every 4-6 hours; not more than 8 tablets in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
